Wembley Stadium
The world's most famous stadium.
Bringing it alive on the internet
Background
The best place to start is with the basics and that's what we did. After identifying potential usability and accessibility issues DDME wanted to quantify the findings. We commissioned the Usability Services Team from Leeds Metropolitan University to conduct a survey using their eye tracking and analysis skills. DDME then joined forces with Wembley Stadium to improve any areas that needed attention.
Solution
After identifying the issues we could begin working through them to bring the site up to the standard required for a national stadium. DDME developed a set of website design guidelines to work alongside the main brand guidelines and re-designed the 'Seats and Boxes' section along with associated application forms. DDME have also helped to develop an ongoing programme of ideas for new website content.
Result
Accessibility and usability is now forefront in the minds of those in the marketing team involved with producing online content. New website projects already anticipate problems, maximising the outcome and creating engaging content.
