What is DDME?
We are a design and development company who specialise in digital media. The majority of our work is based online - designing websites, building them, marketing them or improving existing sites. We also work on other screen-based media such as, CD Rom, DVD and 3D animation.

How can I gauge the quality of DDME’s work?
The design of our sites are visually impressive, though just as importantly, they’re easy to use. As the 1995 Disability and Discrimination Act is now law, we’ve invested a large amount of time in ensuring the work that we produce is both usable and accessible. As well as using the most current methods, the code used to build our sites is compliant. This means we adhere to the guidelines written by the World Wide Web Consortium.

What’s the cost and when will the work be completed?
After an initial brief, we will send you an estimate for the work and unless you add to the original brief the fee that you pay will be as the original costs. Similarly when we commence a project we will agree a time plan. DDME are conscious that we need to deliver on time and on budget.

How will visitors find my website?
Obviously there’s no point having a website that no one visits. That’s why DDME help our clients to be found through search engine results. We can help you with optimising your written content and using pay per click advertising. The benefit of building compliant websites is that it will improve your search engine ranking. Search engines also prefer more accessible websites.

What’s a CSS, xHTML with MySQL?
The web is full of acronyms, though that’s not how we talk. We like to think that we use plain English to explain what it is that we’re describing. It’s important to do this when working with our clients. Even more important is the language and tone of voice used in our work. Where is my website?
We have our own web hosting that is only used by our clients. So we know exactly what is happening on our servers. NetBenefit manages our servers in their London Docklands data-centre, where they guarantee 100% availability.
